Single-game tickets for Colorado State University’s 2007 home football games will go on sale July 9, the school said Monday.

CSU’s home games this season are Sept. 8 against California, Oct. 6 vs. San Diego State, Oct. 13 vs. Air Force, Oct. 27 vs. Utah, Nov. 17 vs. Georgia Southern and Nov. 23 against Wyoming.

CSU also plays the University of Colorado on Sept. 1 in Denver.

Fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets to all of the above games with the exception of the Sept. 8 date with Cal.

Athletic department officials said that tickets to the game with Cal are available by purchasing a season ticket or through three-game miniplans for sale. Any remaining tickets would go on sale in late August for the Rams’ home opener against the Bears, which marks only the second time in Hughes Stadium history a Pacific-10 Conference member will visit Fort Collins.

Single-game ticket prices for reserved seats on the west side of the stadium are $40 apiece for the Cal and Wyoming games and $30 each for games with Air Force, Georgia Southern, San Diego State, and Utah.

Single-game tickets also are available in the north end zone section for $25 per game (except Cal).

Fans also can purchase to three games - Cal, Air Force and Georgia Southern - for $90.

Six opponents - Cal, Houston, TCU, Utah, BYU and New Mexico - played in bowl games last season. CSU returns 20 starters from last year’s team which went 4-8, the Rams’ worst record in Sonny Lubick’s 14 seasons as coach. Also back is running back Kyle Bell, who ran for 1,288 yards in 2005 but missed last year because of a knee injury.
