The term of automation has become quite popular lately. IT companies are striving to promote their solutions. Usually they are very attractive and have got a lot of positive characteristics, but it is only the first view. Having assumed all the factors for and against the usage of such programs, I arrive at conclusion that there are several reasons for the managers not to utilize stuff management software.

Reason 1: It requires some money. Almost all available employee management software is not freeware. In addition to setting up fee, you must pay for maintenance, updates and support. Some people think that the benefits outweigh the expenses. Pay for the program only in case when you are sure that it can be compensated, otherwise, look for the more appropriate solutions.

Reason 2: The unskilled user can not appropriately operate that software. Human resource software is fairly complex to professional. To learn how to use that software you have to employ the specialist that can teach you, if you are not a geek, of course.

Reason 3: You should teach the personnel to operate it properly. The personnel would understand that such program will assist the manager to monitor them, so there is no reason for them to learn it willingly. Lot of people is not used to study such things. It takes away their productive time as well.

Reason 4: You don't see the people you are working with if you utilize employee scheduler software. Operating your personnel in person, not from distance, you would do it better with assistance of your charismatic features. Usually, de-humanization is a result of the automation. The workers do not have the feeling of their significance in the giant structure. It may be cool for a traditional factory, but does not work for a today's competitive company which requires every bit of creativity it can press out of its employees.

Reason 5: You can't be unrivalled using it. There is no assurance that your competitors won't use the identical systems as you do. Even the brilliant software will not let you involve, hold and operate the best minds. Make the unexpected movements if you want to win. Do not forget that PC and its software can not make decisions like man do.

Even such primitive things as a shit of paper and a pen can substitute a lot of expensive software products. If you desire to invest, invest into people, not into programs.
